Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

Makenna was born and raised in Illinois. Her family eventually moved to San Diego where she lived for 10 years and attended San Diego State University. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and minors in both child development and Spanish. During her time at SDSU, she was involved with research surrounding bilingualism and literacy. Makenna loves working with kids and creating individualized sessions based around their needs and interests!

During her time in San Diego, she met her fiancé, Tyler, who was serving in the Navy. After his service, they moved back to his hometown, Bedford, IN to start their life together! Makenna loves life on the farm and has 5 goats, 2 donkeys, a few cows, and a bunch of chickens. In her free time, you will find her out with her animals, baking sourdough, or playing with her nephews!
