Melanie H.

Occupational Therapist; Certified in LSVT BIG

Melanie was raised in Jasper and currently resides in Bloomington. She graduated from Jasper High School before earning her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University–Purdue University in 2001. She later pursued her passion for helping others and obtained her Master of Health Science in Occupational Therapy from University of Indianapolis in 2016. Melanie has also completed specialized training in LSVT BIG to further support patients with neurologic conditions.

Throughout her career, Melanie has gained experience working in outpatient, hospital, and skilled nursing settings, allowing her to treat a wide variety of patient populations. While she enjoys working with many conditions, she has a strong interest in orthopedic rehabilitation. She is passionate about helping individuals return to the activities that matter most to them.

Outside of work, Melanie enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children and their two dogs and cat. She loves crocheting, crafting, reading, and baking. You can often find her supporting her child’s involvement in roller derby.

Melanie joined Harvest Health and Rehab because she values being part of a collaborative team that supports one another and shares knowledge to provide the best patient care.
